Dominican tropical singer Eddy Herrera formed his own orchestra in the early '90s after singing along with bandleader, composer, and producer Wilfrido Vargas, soon becoming one of the most popular local numbers. Casandra award-winner for Best Male Performer, Eddy Herrera celebrated his band's tenth anniversary with a live performance called ~El Concierto on September 10, 2000, followed by a successful show at New York's Madison Square Garden on October 28, that same year.
